In September 2008 HISTORIC HOUSE HOTELS LTD and all its interests in BODYSGALLEN HALL and the other two Historic House Hotels, HARTWELL HOUSE and MIDDLETHORPE HALL, became the property of the NATIONAL TRUST, by donation, with all profits benefiting the houses and the charity.
Wales is famous for its spectacular coastline, rugged mountain scenery and green valleys. The National Trust plays an active role in protecting and managing this countryside and owns 133 miles of the Welsh coastline.
National Trust of Wales also has its fair share of classic country houses. There is Powis Castle with its stunning gardens, the brooding Penrhyn Castle and Anglesey’s Plas Newydd. The spectacular gardens at Bodnant are equally celebrated.
You can now stay in a National Trust house at Bodysgallen Hall, one of the Historic House Hotels of the National Trust, and visit wonderful National Trust properties in Wales.
