DINNER is served in The Dining Room in the Main Hall, and please click here for our opening times.

Bodysgallen Hall's dining menus are in a constant state of evolution contingent on the season and availability of local game and produce. Awarded 3 Rosettes from the AA for food, and regardless of the time of year, you can expect a gourmet experience in our dining room during your stay.  A full Fine Dining Dinner Menu is offered Tuesday to Sunday in the dining room, while on Monday evening a simpler menu is offered - sample simpler menu

Scallops

Chicken and Duck
Pressed with wild mushrooms and leeks, pea puree, toasted brioche

Wye Valley Asparagus (v)
Wye Valley asparagus, saffron and tarragon mayonnaise, with crispy egg and Wirral watercress

Whenever possible the Chef will be pleased to offer alternatives to the dishes shown here for guests staying for a longer visit, or who prefer a different style of cooking.

Restaurant Dress Code

Smart please, (although jacket and tie for gentlemen are not obligatory): trainers, tracksuits and shorts are not acceptable.

 

ALLERGENS AND SPECIAL DIETS

If a guest has a food allergy or intolerance, we request that they consult a member of staff before deciding what to eat and placing an order, on every occasion, whilst in the hotel. Whilst we are committed to informing our guests accurately of any allergenic contents in the dishes served here, and also to complying with specific dietary requests, there remains a risk, albeit small, that traces from other dishes may be present in food served here, or on surfaces.
