The Revival of Gwrych Castle - 'A Dream come True'

FRIDAY 15TH MARCH

Ever since he was a child, Dr Mark Baker has dreamed of rescuing the derelict 19th century Gwrych Castle overlooking Abergele, and set up the Gwrych Castle Preservation Trust at the age of 12.  Now after a 20-year battle to raise funding, the architectural historian is set to fulfill his ambition and will tell the story about the past, present and future of Gwrych Castle and its estate.

Arrive at 11am for coffee in the Drawing Room, with the talk starting at 11.15am, followed by a two-course lunch served in the South Dining Room, accompanied by a glass of wine and coffee or tea and Bodysgallen fudge to finish. Price £41.
