Bodysgallen Hall's dining menus are in a constant state of evolution contingent on the season and availability of local game and produce. Awarded 3 Rosettes from the AA for food, and regardless of the time of year, you can expect a gourmet experience in our dining room during your stay.

A Sample Dinner Menu
Three courses £43.00 per person inclusive of service and VAT




Carpaccio of peppered tuna with marinated vegetables and seared scallop

Veloute of spiced pumpkin with lobster dumpling, sweetbread fritters and curry spice

Jellied ham and duck liver terrine with watercress mousse and Parmesan vinaigrette

Tian of goats cheese with red pepper, smoked pimento and saffron cream (v)

Pressing of confit duck with pickled beetroot, sour cream and salt duck

Lemon and thyme sorbet - £2.50 extra




Grilled fillet of seabass with caramelised cauliflower, roast scallops,sliced truffle and red wine reduction

Cannelloni of Jerusalem artichoke and wild mushroom with tarragon butter sauce and sweet carrot (v)

Vegetables are carefully chosen to accompany each dish or additional vegetables
are available upon request.

Fillet of Welsh beef with braised oxtail, creamed celeriac and horseradish

Whenever possible the Chef will be pleased to offer alternatives to the dishes shown here for guests staying for a longer visit, or who prefer a different style of cooking.

Smart please, although jacket and tie are not required for men,
trainers, tracksuits and shorts are NOT acceptable.
