Spring and Summer at Bodysgallen Hall & Spa 2008
I am delighted to inform you that our programme of winter work has been a great success, and the continued improvements to Bodysgallen Hall & Spa are nearing completion. Our new Principal Suites in the Main Hall, The Conwy Suite and The Lady Augusta Suite are available for our guests to reserve, and offer spacious bedrooms and sitting rooms, with stunning views overlooking our award winning gardens, Conwy Castle and Snowdonia. We have also expanded the bathrooms of our Superior Snowdonia View bedrooms, 5 and 18, which now have stand-alone showers as well as baths with showers. We soon will add extra digital television channels to all of the Main Hall bedrooms, and nearly all of the cottage suites. ANNE SEMONIN has been introduced to the Bodysgallen Spa as a luxury treatment and product range, exclusive to Bodysgallen in the UK, outside of London. We have also introduced ANNE SEMONIN bathroom products to our bedrooms and bathrooms.
As I write, work is in full progress redecorating The Wynn Rooms, our private meeting and dining rooms. Air-conditioning has been installed, and redecoration is underway to the Lower Wynn Room Dining Room. Our Wynn Rooms are a superb venue for exclusive strategy meetings and special celebratory occasions, offering self-contained private facilities. We also have redecoration planned for two of our cottage suites - see our web site for more exciting news about this! On that subject, all of our company web sites are being modernised and will be 'live' in May. This is where you will see last minute offers and news on everything that we are doing, as it happens!
Our new Head Chef, Gareth Jones has settled in amazingly well, and his first menu was a huge success. He has hosted three cookery demonstrations in the Wynn Rooms, and more are planned for this summer. Gareth's Spring and Summer menu will be available from the beginning of May, and he hopes to meet even more of you at his next demonstration.
The coming months bring exciting events with our programme of 'Introducing the Artist' Cultural Lunches, Cookery Demonstrations, Garden Tours, and RHS events, together with our popular Summer and Spa Breaks.
THE GARDENS OF BODYSGALLEN
Robert Owen and his long serving team, will be continuing with their successful guided tours of the gardens and parkland throughout the summer and early autumn. These popular tours will focus on all aspects of our gardens, and will take you to areas of the Bodysgallen estate that you may not have seen, including our dramatic "gothic follies".
A SUMMER BREAK IN THE COUNTRY!
Why not take the opportunity of enjoying and appreciating the gardens here and also at the neighbouring historic properties, whilst staying at Bodysgallen Hall on a Summer Break? Prices start from £260 per room per night, based on two people sharing a double or twin-bedded room for a minimum of two nights and are inclusive of overnight accommodation, dinner and breakfast, full use of the Bodysgallen Spa, service and VAT. Admission is included in the price into properties such as Bodnant Gardens, Caernarfon Castle, Penrhyn Castle, Plas Newydd on the island of Anglesey, Beaumaris Castle, Harlech Castle, and Conwy Castle. ANNE SEMONIN CELTIC BREAK!
Together with ANNE SEMONIN, we have created a new 'Celtic Spa Break', available throughout the year, (Sunday to Thursday excluding Bank Holidays) with accommodation in one of our Spa Cottage Suites. The price per person is £250,and includes accommodation, cooked breakfast, table d’hote dinner, half a bottle of champagne per person in the room on arrival, and full use of the Bodysgallen Spa. Included also is an Anne Semonin Deep Release Massage with Hot Stones, and an Anne Semonin Hydra Express Facial. A £30.00, allowance towards treatments for each additional nights stay is also included, and partners not wishing to take treatments may stay for £135 per night.
MAY AND AUGUST TWO-NIGHT CASTLE SPA BREAK!
Stay at Bodysgallen Hall throughout the months of May and August for a minimum of two nights, to include two nights dinner, bed and breakfast, accommodation in a superior bedroom or cottage suite, admission into Conwy Castle, a 30 minute back, neck and shoulder massage, unlimited use of our Spa. The price per person is £315, subject to availability, and not available for the Bank Holiday weekends. Massages subject to availability, and must be reserved at the time of booking.
A JUNE AND JULY "CHAMPAGNE AND STAWBERRIES" LUNCHEON
Throughout June and July (excluding Sundays), a three-course Champagne and Strawberries lunch will be served. Start off with a delectable glass of our new Historic House Hotels Champagne, Champagne Brice, followed by three set courses, including delicious strawberries and cream. What could be more indulgent? Following lunch enjoy a stroll around our gardens. All for £26.50 per person, including service and VAT.
LUNCHEON AND AFTERNOON TEA
Come for luncheon (two courses £19.00, three courses £22.50, Monday to Saturday, Sunday luncheon £27.00), or indulge in full Welsh cream tea in one of our magnificent Drawing Rooms. If the weather is fine, take tea out on the terrace, with views of our gardens and Snowdonia - all for the price of £14.00.

Bodysgallen Garden Tours in Association with the Royal Horticultural Society
Our Head Gardener Robert Owen, in association with the Royal Horticultural Society will conduct two guided tours of our award winning gardens, followed by a two-course luncheon with wine in the Main Hall.

'INTRODUCING THE ARTIST' LUNCHEON SERIES
Each month, in conjunction with 'Coast and Country Living' magazine, we will be inviting an artist or person with a special interest to talk about their work, giving you the opportunity to meet them in the intimate setting of our Drawing Room.
Quite informal, this will take place over a cup of coffee followed by a two course luncheon with a glass of wine in our Dining Room. Come along with friends or on your own. The event starts at 11.00am prompt, and the cost is £26.50 per person inclusive of VAT and service.
